I took this pic at Nowruz – Persian New Year, which marks the first day
of the spring. The most important part of the celebration is setting the
haft-seen table. Haft is the Persian word for the number seven
and seen for the letter “S.”
The photo captures two of seven items of the haft-seen table.
In my opinion celebrating New Year in March makes more sense then in
December. I really feel that something is changing; the spring is here.
